For my new site, I wanted something that would fit better with the content I needed it to contain. My current site is generally alright, but the content started to outgrow the design. Time for an upgrade!

This time around, I wanted something with a more defined structure. I also wanted something that would fit the theme of video game development, as that's my main focus. So I modeled my design on a video game menu, with a fixed navigation bar to the left, and the content to the right.

When viewing on mobile (or just when the browser gets too narrow), the navigation moves to the top and scrolls with the page, to prevent it from blocking the content on a small screen. Font and image sizes also adjust appropriately.

So overall, I'm pretty happy with the new design, and I'm starting to implement it. I'm still working out exactly how I want to display my games and such, and whether or not I'd like individual pages for each project. But I expect to have the update live by the end of the week, if at all possible. :)
