Applying some of styles and techniques found on inspiration and exploration phases. Here is my guitar amp.

1) Ink pen with pointed nib. Loose and sketchy approach.

2) Brush and ink one. I wanted to try out flat shapes style. I have never used ink before... so it was kinda challenging :)

3) Brush + ink + liner. Just like previous one but with some linework.

I wanted to draw something from my neighborhood. But we're currently on quarantine so I can't go out. I decided to get some pictures from my phone and Instagram. Here is what I found interesting to try to draw:

Some of the last sketches are concrete fences. Concrete fence is one of the most replicated objects of industrial design in ex-USSR. I love how light and shadows play on their surface, love concrete texture. They are ugly but beautiful. All this points makes them good candidates to make a drawing of.

So I decided to draw some fences. My references was my pictures:

I ran a quick experiment on best drawing technique for this kind of object: Inky cards - image 14 - student project

Decided to go inks only (3rd column) because it looks a lot like concrete texture.

I isolated parts of fences and drew them as an abstract geometric patterns.

I was experimenting a lot and tried to use different techniques for each pic. Here you can see some details:

Then the fences were finished I realised that I was drawing postcards. So... I should have added some "postcardness" to it. How to add a message to concrete fence? Graffiti!

I was little bit afraid to ruin already drawn images so I drew graffiti part on separate sheets.

I drew all of this stuff with inks and brush including dot work on graffiti images.
