Create a paper pop-up style illustration!

The process can be boiled down to 3 simple steps:

Sketching by hand
Rendering in Adobe Illustrator
Texturizing in Adobe Photoshop

We will be working this project in two forms: One will be a very simple composition, designed to not be overwhelming at all and to give you ALL of the tools needed for you to execute a full-blown illustration. The second one will be an illustration that's more complex, and a bit more representative of what I create for a client, or for Instagram.

We will be spending the most time on the simple composition, just to get your basics and foundation of this style set. You will absolutely learn everything you need to know for this style after getting through that first part.

The complex illustration is something that's very execution heavy, and may be a little overwhelming to get through in this course. We do break it down here, so you would know exactly how to tackle something like that on your own!

I will be providing you my illustrator files. NOTE: I can not provide you a texture file as I do not own the texture images I use. I purchased the right to use them, and I can't go out and provide links to download them for free. I will give you the resource for purchase:

It's called the Kraft Paper Texture pack by Point & Poem. As mentioned in this course, you can use any paper texture image to your liking, and don't have to use the ones from this pack.
