Illustrate an idiom (a fun phrase that doesn't mean what it says)

ASSIGNMENT

Your assignment is to illustrate an idiom. An idiom is a phrase that has a non-literal meaning. Think of "it's raining cats and dogs" or "the cat's out of the bag." You don't have to do one about cats (but you can).

This project is all about being playful and a little bit clever. You know I love to sketch. I'm most excited to see your sketches and ideas. All you need are pens, paper, and your brain. The computer and blender pens are totally optional. Use what you have, and have fun!

DELIVERABLE

Share your work, and share with each other. Don't be afraid! The only way I've ever gotten better is by sharing my work with others who have pushed me to do better. In the class gallery, share your
