How are you holding up? I'm checking in after a long hiatus with something new to share...

There is a community I'm a part of that has a weekly discussion themed around "Give and Take". The idea is that each week, there is a dedicated post that gives everyone the opportunity to share something with the community (give) and ask for something from the community (take). I love love love this idea, so I thought I would bring it over here and see where it takes us.

I'll send you a message each week on Tuesdays and open up the conversation with my own "Give and Take." I'll always be focusing on design, branding, business, and class-related sharing.

A couple of ground rules:

Your "gives" and "takes" should be free. The point of this is to be generous with the community so that we can all share our resources with each other and be better off as a whole.
Make your "takes" as simple and clear as possible to increase the chances of people being able to help you. An example of something reasonable is: "Take: some feedback on a recent project," with a link or "Take: recommendations for your favorite sketchbook."
Takes aren't required. If you only have a Give, that's totally fine! Please share! But if you have a Take to share with the community, make sure you are first offering up a Give.

Otherwise, what you share can be super simple. Your give can be a link you found interesting or someone to follow on Instagram.

Let's get into it! Here's my Give and Take for this week:

Give: A book recommendation: Ash Ambirge's The Middle Finger Project. I sped through this book and took a zillion notes. It's written in a very entertaining tone and includes lots of helpful gems for any existing or aspiring business owner.

Take: I'd love to know in the comments what brand strategy and design topics you are most interested in learning more about. Where do you feel like there are gaps that need to be filled in?
