I'm Caitlyn Mary.

I'm an artist living in Ontario, Canada, with my awesome, talented teammate, Cameron. I'm also a full-time public health nurse working with young mommas and their babies, and do my best to create artwork during my evenings and weekends.

I'm a backpack hiker and very in love with nature and all of the life lessons it offers in the most subtle, quite and beautiful ways. Backpacking acts as a doorway to experiencing nature in this deep and intimate way, which then feeds inspiration for my paintings. My art is always inspired by the photographs and memories of my time in the backcountry. I hope it brings feelings of deep connection and peace to those who experience my work.

Next to being an artist, I am also an art teacher. I absolutely love teaching others and sharing creativity with my community. Im so glad to have found Skillshare and am so excited to offer art classes soon and help others along their journey in getting to know their inner artist!

Cameron has been a professional carpenter for over 5 years and is now a full-time Architectural Technologist. For the last 3 years, he has been building all the canvas, panels and frames for my artwork and for many artists across the province in our home of Ontario, Canada.
