Hello, this is still a WIP (work in progress). Will update as soon as I tackle and complete each step.

Always excited for your classes guys. I love making patterns so I was extra excited when I saw this one. I'm going to slowly update this one as I go as I'm already getting very involved with each step. So I'll add what I achieve each time I tackle a step.

A - Line segments: I already find myself delving deep into this class. I skipped ahead steps to figure out how to make a repeatable pattern as I had forgotten from the last time I did a pattern class. I also found myself adjusting colours and parts of the pattern as I saw things I didn't like when the pattern was repeating in a larger format. Fixing these problems within a pattern to make it look better is something I really enjoy about constantly creating patterns. Below are the swatches with different techniques.

Final collage: I've decided that I want to create a collage of all my patterns similar to the thumbnail of this class to collectively show what I achieved in this class. Hopefully it looks as good as Evgeniya's! Update: This idea will be moved to Evgeniya's new class about creating collages, but I'll post the final product here and a link for reference when complete.

Initial thoughts (conclusion): Thanks so much to Evgeniya and Dominic again for putting time into continuously making great classes. I've enjoyed every one so far and look forward to many more. This one was extra enticing for me to take up as I love creating patterns. I usually like to make them repeatable as I turn them into wallpapers which I host on my website. Having a library of patterns is very handy, and even the simplest of techniques can add a whole lot of interest to projects being worked on. You guys are part of the group of teachers that inspire me to get into teaching, the setup, pace and quality is top tier. The only improvement I would suggest at this point is maybe with the equipment you use or how you record audio. I just want you guys to improve like you see us students improve. It's not an annoyance it's just something I have noticed in your videos. It kind of sounds like audio when watching analog television. Apologies is this is intended as an art direction decision, it does bring back memories of Art Attack which is nostalgic and appreciated. If it is intended please ignore me, just something to ponder I guess.
