For your class project, you will create seven bold pieces of art using your favourite colours and supplies.

WHAT WE'LL DO:

In our first prompt we’ll practice our boldness with making shapes.
In our second prompt we’ll fill our page with audacious lines.
In our third prompt we’ll confidently turn blobs into lumpy lil 3-D guys with simple swipes and strokes of colour.
In our fourth prompt we’ll use what we’ve learned in the first three prompts to make big, bold leaves.
In our fifth prompt we’ll take this further, creating a landscape full of perspective.
In our sixth prompt we’ll be daring and make a bright breezy floral composition.
In our seventh and final prompt we’ll finish big with a confident, textured, tree.

WHAT YOU NEED:

Materials that can layer and dry fast enough to be practical to work with. I use poster paint sticks, highlighters, and paint pens (Posca and Molotow) - you can use whatever you like - pastels, chalks, crayons, pencils, the sky is the limit!
Paper to draw on. Any kind of paper is fine as long as it works with your materials.
