An excited marketer creates and releases a new marketing campaign for their product. They start promoting it and... crickets. No one buys.

So they sweeten the deal and start adding more value and publishing more content, but that doesn’t help.

The offer hits the marketplace with a big thud.

And the marketer is devastated.

Why does this happen?

Much of the time, marketing teams are starting from the wrong place.

Having seen this time and again, I just spent the last 9 months updating all the information to be relevant and helpful for this year's marketing leaders.

After 20+ years of leading marketing teams, I found that I was repeating the same information over and over. Having an M.A. of Marketing, I also know they don't teach most of this in school. And having attended dozens (if not hundreds) of marketing conferences, much of this isn't touched on either.

So, you will find updated in the 2019 version of this course:
1. I fill in all the holes that most people are too afraid to ask but are important for business.
2. I skip the fancy marketing information that tends to not help very much in your actual job.
3. I explain why a topic or task is important before showing you how to do it.
4. At the beginning of each Session, you will see a link to the Homework file in Google Sheets. Make a copy of this file so you can build your own marketing playbook throughout this course.
