I hope this message finds you well. It's been quite a journey since our time together on Skillshare back in 2015. While you might not remember me, I'm thrilled to reconnect with you and share some exciting news that I believe will resonate deeply with your artistic aspirations.

First, a bit about me – Hello, my name is Beth Gatza. Since our last interaction, I have experienced significant personal and professional growth. I have taught art in some of the most prestigious schools in Los Angeles and created artwork that has been featured on television and film. Currently, I have been focused on growing a creative community of artists through my private art courses aimed at fostering the development of my students' portraiture work. Additionally, I have become a wife and mother, and am excited to welcome another child into my family soon.

Now, let's dive into the exciting update: as I approach my third trimester of pregnancy, I'm embracing a new chapter that involves the possibility of medical challenges, similar to those I faced during my first pregnancy. With my growing family in mind, I've made the decision to temporarily bring my premium courses to Skillshare. This move allows me to dedicate more time to my family while still nurturing and growing the creative community that means so much to me.

And now, the part that matters to you – I'm thrilled to introduce my popular course "Realistic Portraits for Beginners" coming soon to Skillshare (Part one of the course will be uploaded as soon as this week). This extensive but easy-to-consume course is suitable for both experienced artists and beginners. It will guide you through the process and techniques of creating realistic portraits. In just 10 weeks, you will learn how to paint six realistic portraits. Moreover, I will be adding more of my premium courses to Skillshare, including "Cinematic Portraits" and "Composition in Art for Beginners," (Note: Composition in Art has just become available on Skillshare.)

When Will it Be Available?
"Realistic Portraits for Beginners" will be presented in two parts: Part 1 will cover all the lessons and techniques for creating realistic portraits, and Part 2 will showcase 6 portrait demonstrations, along with reference photos for you to practice. Part 1 is nearly complete and will be available this week, with Part 2 following about a week later. The course "Composition in Art for Beginners" is currently available on Skillshare, and my other courses will soon be too.
