In this master class, I will tell you: how, with the help of a few simple techniques and basic knowledge of color theory, to choose the most perfect «love-forever» colors.

YOU WILL LEARN:

Thanks to this course, you will learn «The Secret of Color» - how to easily and quickly select colors for your masterpieces. Working with color will not be a torment, but a pleasure!

This course is suitable for both beginners and professionals who do not have a good relationship with color. It will be useful for illustrators, designers, and the ordinary people who want to learn how to create beautiful color combinations.

YOU WILL NEED:

Procreate or any other program in which you can draw and work with color. If you are more comfortable working with physical materials, you can use your own materials (watercolor, gouache, acrylic, etc.).

PROJECT

Your task for this class is to create 4 variants of a simple picture using 4 different color palettes.

FOUR STEPS:

First Step: Choose!

The most important thing is to choose what you will draw: it should be simple and colored. For example, a car, a simple landscape, a butterfly, a bouquet of flowers, a frame with text ...

No matter what it is, the main thing is that you like it!!

Second Step: Draw!

Draw your picture in a program that you like (I use Procreate). It is better to use separate layers to make it easier to recolor the picture.

Third Step: Duplicate!

Duplicate your picture and create a collage. (Please note that if you use physical materials, you will have to redraw your picture several times!)

Fourth Step: Recolor!

Create 4 color palettes and recolor your image with them, creating 4 different variants.
