Write a 500-word essay on an object in your wallet, bag, or pocket.

ASSIGNMENT

Find one everyday object in your wallet, bag, or pocket; study its design; and write about it in a shortform piece of 500 words or less. Start with researching the history of the object, and then weave in personal narrative. By going through this exercise, you will learn how the writing process can help you communicate your ideas and better articulate the reasons that motivate your own work as a designer.

DELIVERABLE

Post your 500-word essay in the Skillshare project gallery. A finished project should include at least one rough draft and not be a single word more than 500 words.

CONTEST
