I started with some coffee cup sketches I had done for my 100 days of drawing challenge (which I was inspired to do because of Dylan! ).

I got everything laid out in illustrator and started working on some color options.

When I originally drew these mugs I didn't have a plan for them to become anything other than sketches. So the lines weren't really great for using on the final. I decided to do a quick trace over them with tracing paper and scanned in the new lines. This made adding the the lines in super quick and easy.

I landed on these three color options. I really like how this turned out! But after I finished adding all the lines and texture in photoshop I noticed that the repeat is very obvious because of the larger mugs. I'll probably go back and fix that later but for now I'm really happy with these :) Thanks for the awesome class Dylan!
