ASSIGNMENT

You will create 5 poems that are stylistically different but linked by a theme you care deeply about. Each poem should be able to stand on its own—this means our team should not need to read other parts of your collection in order to understand or feel engaged by the individual poems within it.

Note: Cameron will pay special attention to projects submitted by those interested in taking Poetry II: Creating a Book of Poems.

DELIVERABLE

Upload your poetry collection to the project gallery. A finished project will include:

A few sentences about how you selected your theme/thread
A list of at least 15 “small noticings”
A list of at least 3 literary tools you used
A note about why you will (or will not) take Poetry II: Creating a Book of Poems
Your 5 best poems
