Hello!

My collection was inspired by one of the first warm and sunny weekends in Poland, that I spent with my friends in the countryside. Colours and shapes of plants (mainly yellow dandelions and blooming trees) all around were my inspiration board, I was just sitting on the grass, sketching. That's why a collection's name is "First weekend of May"!

My inspiration board was all around me but to summarise the overall mood for the class, I've prepared a little moodboard from the pictures found on web/on my camera:

I used one of the colour palettes I just like to work with, warm and sweet. In order to create collection, I was concentrating on scale, hue and complexity of the patterns. I'm really happy with the results! Here is my collection with the description:
