The iPhone portrait mode is a hidden feature in my opinion. I have this mode on my iPhone since version 7, but I didn't use it that much. 
Last year I switched from the 7 Plus model to the 12Pro model. 

So today I took some portraits in the garden. First our little cat 'Fika', he does never have time to sit still for me. But I managed it.
