I wanted to incorperate the steep cliff with the lighthouse on top and a small piece of the cliff reflecting in the rainfilled pool between the grass and the rocks the give some dimension. 

The lighthouse gives you a sense how tall the cliffs are.

Also the evening sun lit up the cliff face nicely with a warm glow.
