What a gem of a class Helen Bradley!

I used my own photo of roses and using the "Quick Selection Tool" was a breeze.

And then truly understanding how to recolor in Illustrator. 

Them tweeting that yellow with purple.

I wasn't able to figure out how to carry the Gray-Tone Rose into the pattern, the mask would mess-up the result. What needs to be done so to work?
