Here are my experiments in texture. It was fun playing and not thinking too hard though struggled to avoid being repetitive.

I decided to paint an owl, as my daughter is in the ‘owl’ class at her nursery (kindergarten) and she is about to leave to join big school, so I thought if I liked the outcome I could gift them a print.

I was really pleased with my first attempt. I didn’t quite hit the right note with the composition so I redid it at 10x8.

This is a small version of a Giclee print I had done of my final piece. I hand finished it with gold watercolour and a little more white ink. I’m really pleased with the result.
Thank you Ana Victoria for another incredible and inspiring class!
