I've been looking forward to this course, and it did not disappoint! I really appreciate the doodling approach to make the act of drawing very low stakes, a reminder that it's okay to experiment to generate loose ideas and play.

Pro tip: put a piece of paper between sketchbook sheets if the paper is thin when drawing on the backside or pencil will transfer (although I guess I can consider it another level of experimentation with color!) - see the image below for the result:
