Learn To Draw: A Beginner's Guide To Sketching Anything!

Hi Colleen, thank you so much for taking the class, and for sharing this fabulous drawing!Although you have said it's messy and out of proportion - I'd say that actually, the proportions are pretty great actually, and that sketches by their very nature should be messy :)It's really important that we can use the sketch as a kind of working drawing - drawing a bit, checking it then correcting bits which need it - and I can see that you have done that with your sketch - this is actually really helpful as a learning tool because we can see the progress so clearly - I can see you have made the width smaller and adjusted those corners to be more accurate. It might feel messy because you can see those parts which have been corrected but this is actually brilliant because look at how much more accurate you have made it from the first marks you made! Fantastic!Well done on doing such a great job of all those tricky curves - you've done a particularly great job of the silver bowl part at the top - well done!Thank you so much for sharing this Colleen, it's fantastic!
