Hi James ! First of all thank you so much for this amazing course, just got a cheap macrokeys to start with, very useful way to save time, hotkeys are amazing and you gave us brilliant information about logo design.

Nouns: Snail Shell, Coffee, Fresh, Nature.

These are all my sketches, I'm terrible at drawing as you can tell, but as you said, the point is to draw fast and get those ideas on paper.

This little snail caught my attention, i was trying to use the snail shell as a mug.

The problem was that it looked like a smoking pipe rather than a mug, so after this one got back to sketching.

Then i had this idea of a mug top view with the shell as a coffee art.

 

Went to Illustrator and this was the end result
To me it was lovely, it has some nature look with the font and the shell, gave me a fresh look as well, so started finding a nice color palette.
Then I added a pattern and some fresh look to it with the pencil tool.
This was my end result!
