I was already going to compliment the way you've painted this, and then I read that this is done with your non-dominant hand!? which just takes it to another level. You've clearly got a good amount of control and the right amount of persistence.My initial thoughts were that I really like the effect you've achieved. Even if it wasn't purposeful, the lines, brush strokes and layers you've put down have a very unique look, in the best way possible. This may be due to you using your non dominant hand, but it could just as well have been an artistic choice for you to go for a more expressive style.I personally like when you can see some of the hard edges from the different layers of watercolor - it just enhances that very specific look that watercolor has, well done! Your color mixes are clean and your shadows and highlights are well defined. Thank you so much for sharing your project!

i am so happy to have tried this project. I paint with my non dominant hand due to suffering from stroke. i dream of coming back to portraits .
