I was so excited when I saw this class. Not familiar with portraits, so I had plenty of fun and challenges.

I struggledwith the expression in her eyes. At first she looked terrified! Tried to soften it by lowering the upper eyelid. It helped, but still she looks a bit scary. I think the right eye is looking at me and the other one looking more sideways.

Then it was the mouth and the side of it. I had printed out the sketching and your painting and the painting is a bit larger than the sketching. So I had to adjust it. Don’t know if it is still too big. I will appreciate comments to improve the portrait. Thank you for another great class!!!
