Well done Leslie! I see you said you struggled a bit with the advanced techniques but I think you pulled it off really well! As with anything advanced it takes time to completely master it, however I think you are well on your way here. You definitely seem to be understanding the key principles of light and shadow as well as how color is used so good job on that! Overall I think your piece here is very well done, ,I see you paid attention to the light, the light direction, edge lighting, it's all there! Great work Leslie!
