‘You didn’t, did you? Not really?

Jade holds her head in her hands. She can’t believe what she’s done.

‘I did,’ she sighs. ‘I kissed Michael.’

‘Shut up you didn’t. What’s the matter with you Jade! You said you wouldn’t go back to him, how many times do you need to go through this?’

Tiffany was right. Jade could not let go of her ex-boyfriend Michael, despite the serial cheating she couldn’t let go of the love she has for him.

‘Tiffany, you don’t understand. We were together for 3 years, we’ve been through so much.’

Jade cries, she’s unable to explain any further, the tears roll down her face and she collapses onto the sofa.

Tiffany rushes by her side, she can’t bear to see her friend this way. She pulls Jade closer to her and lets her cry into her shoulder.

‘It’s okay, it’s fine.’

It’s not fine. Tiffany knows it and so does Jade, but Jade can’t stop loving Michael even though he is no good for her. Love is about trials and tribulations so this is something they should be able to overcome? Even if it means her heart has been shattered into a million pieces.
