I finally launched my newsletter!

I imported my old subscribers from MailChimp and added all the previous customers of my shop. I'm working with about 800 subscribers at the moment. Decided to upgrade to the Creator Plan on ConvertKit and added myself to the Creator Network.

I've already sent out a couple broadcasts to re-engage with my old subscribers and announce some Black Friday deals and a new product.

I was so nervous and anxious but I did it.

At first my emails were going to spam because I had a custom domain in there but never validated it. I decided to remove the custom domain for now and worked with CK support to resolve the spam issues and I resent my first broadcast to anyone who didn't open. My average open rate right now is 27%.

I got a few nice replies which was encouraging. Got some unsubscribes of course, but that was expected. Happy to be refining the list.

My "True North" for my newsletter will be about personal growth for sensitive and intuitive creators. I plan to just write about my weekly creative workflow and thoughts and musings, how I balance productivity and business with my spirituality and mental health.
