After doing the roses and cherry blossoms, I really liked that the hummingbird was something quicker for in-between. What I totally loved about this project was that I got to use so many colors. It felt a little like being on a “coloring playground”. I also got to like my palette better again; it seems that lots of students have the good artist quality paints, which I don’t (except for a few new ones) and have been wondering about, but I felt that the colors of my student brand all matched really well with each other and did a particularly good job for this project. I'm really happy again to have them, and it was a lot of fun painting!
