Hey there. Lovely mockups. Can I please ask what the displacement on the pillow did and how you did it? The pillow mockup looks photorealistic.

Natalie, sorry for the late response, your comment got lost somehow. A displacement map is used to make the image layer "wrap" around the folds of the object it's being applied to. You will work on the background image, use a Gaussian blur of 1 px to get rid of some details, next desaturate the image and Save As a psd file ( call it displacement map). Now close that file and reopen your background image to work the mock-up. After your made your smart object or rasterized layer, apply a filter by going to Filter -Distort -Displace. I keep the default settings and hit ok. Select the displacement map you created. Play with blending mods, effects and opacity for that filter, until you are happy with the result. I hope I managed to explain it!

What I did different is I added a displacement on my bed lining.
