Wow, Gina, this looks great! Did you create a binding for the circle or is the foil transferred on top? Very impressive, thank you for sharing with us!

Hi Amy I just used iron on foil since I wasn’t really sure what I was doing. I don’t know much about binding? Also I had a tough time with that French hem. Didn’t have enough material to make it work so I still finished it but had to make improv adjustments. I also want to share that I loved learning to circle technique.

Iron on foil is fun, you've got a nice effect there! If you had some trouble with the mock French hem, you can try increasing your seam allowance next time (5/8 inch or even 3/4 inch), which will give you more material to fold in and makes it less fiddly to handle. I also love that circle technique, and you can use it on any curved hem (such as on a skirt), as well!
