Hi everyone,
Here is an example for the Class Project.
1. Sketch

Again, you don't have to have a sketch to do this project as long as you have an idea what you want to create. I use my sketch for more like a guide to remember what I want to create in collage.
2. Texture Images:

Those are images of paints spilled on a floor that I photographed. As you can see, there are many parts in texture but I only used small part of them. So you can reuse this texture images so many times to do so many projects.
If you do more of this collage illustration, I recommend to make your stock photography folder on your computer, then you can collect many texture images as you go around town, which you can use and reuse so many times. You will start seeing what kind of texture images work the best. For me, finner grain texture images work the best.
3. Finished Image:

I like paper "cut out" look of illustration when I make these collage in Photoshop, so I intentionally leave some bumps and wiggly lines. But of course, if you like more clean cut images, you can keep working on it to make it perfect for you :)

If you want to make a card with the illustration, add a few elements like this.

Also, if you are into making patterns like me, you can use your motif to make patterns! This is just as an example :)

Just to give you guys a new idea for the project, I made this. It could be something simple like this!
Hope you have fun creating your own collage! If you have any questions, please feel free to post on discussion board! I can't wait to see your image! Thank you for enrolling my class!
