How to Create an Engaging Food Blog Post

Wow this is awesome! Amazing shot with the iPhone!

I love this shot! I am such a huge fan of top down shots:). Brunch shots are awesome because of all the different types of food that could potentially be mingling in the same frame--e.g. a latte next to a burger. Love it! I also love that you used an iPhone--just more proof that you can TOTALLY create a beautiful blog using a phone as your camera. My only suggestion on this one would be to up the brightness of the photo (then possibly punch up the saturation if you lose a little color in increasing brightness) with whatever photo editing app you use. It was something I had to train myself to do...at first when I increased brightness, it always felt too bright, but as I got more comfortable with doing it, it looked more and more normal.  Just to see the difference, do a few different versions where you increase brightness a little, a little more, then on the verge of too much--compare them all and see what you like best. It was really when I compared them to former versions that I realized how much better the brighter ones looked.  Good luck, and looking forward to seeing more as you move along! M
