20-Minute Exercise

20-Minute Exercise - student project

Hi everyone! I hope you enjoyed the Class. Today I did my own 20-minute exercise, here are some photos. I actually did two 20-minute sessions. The first 20 minutes I worked on the image of Protea flowers in a vase, you can see in the photo how far I got in these 20 minutes. Not an amazing drawing, but it was a good warm up and a tool to get rid of jittery nerves.

Then I had another go, at the dog image, and this is how far I got in 20 minutes. As you can see, it's not finished, but with a bit more work (and if I manage not to overwork the eyes) it could become an interesting drawing. So I was happy with that.

You can see a photo of my space as it looks today, and my Evaluation.

I hope this helps... please share your photos and evaluations so we can dig into what works and what doesn't!20-Minute Exercise - image 1 - student project

And here's my evaluation. I realised that even though I felt very tired today, doing the drawings made me feel mentally refreshed.

I hope you enjoy having a go at the project and can't wait to see what you share!
