Day 14 - Texture

I think I have mild trypophobia because I've always found those kinds of clusters of holes to be disturbing but also fascinating at the same time

I really struggled to come up with something for today

 

Day 11 - Transform me

I liked the colours of my day 8 piece but it just felt really flat so I went back in & tried to add some texture & depth. Still not 100% happy with it but I think it looks better

Day 10 - Thread

Day 9 - Flatten it out

Cats again! I made some cat silhouettes and also simple shapes in black a that I cut into with the eraser until they were cats too

Day 8 - Colors & more colors

I had a fairly calm day so I went with mostly cool tones

 

Day 7 - Crowd of creatures

I felt like doing something simple & cute today (tough day at work). I had a lot of fun drawing this little witch girl & her crowd of ghosts

Day 6 - Metamorphosis #2 (+full page)

I couldn't get flowers out of my head when thinking of this prompt after yesterday so I just started sketching and this is what I ended up with.

 

Day 5 - Metamorphosis (+negative space)

I don't have much to say about today, as soon as I watched the prompt video I just had this image in my head of a girl slowly being consumed by her flower crown.

 

Day 4 - Shake it up!

I normally like to be very slow & clean with my lines so this was an interesting challenge for me!  Energetic lines made me think of fur so picked a fox and I'm just now realising I should have done an action pose because he doesn't look very energetic...

Day 3 - Feelin' a bit slow

It was tough for me to figure out what to draw for this one because slow is my normal art pace lol. I ended up thinking about circular shapes and how I have to be slow and more deliberate with my lines to make them look right and settled on spirals. Inspired by Junji Ito's Uzumaki (impossible to think spirals without thinking about it)

 

Day 2 - Cloudwatching 

For my first few attempts of this I drew some pretty complex shapes with lots of overlap, etc but could not come up with a single thing looking at them! I think my brain needs to keep things simple at the moment... and for some reason I always seem to default to cats
