For your class project, we'll be working together to create an immersive motion graphic trip map that's typically used as a transition between different locations.

Exploring this project will provide you with information about a number of methods and tools that could be used to create a map of the particular sort, as well as other motion graphics.

The main steps to completing your class project are:

We'll first set up the project in DaVinci Resolve and move to Fusion.
Next, we will bring in our media into the project and go over the UI and how to access the nodes or tools in Fusion.
Next, we will start the process of creating our route on the map.
Following that up by creating our animation for the route on the map.
Once the animations on the map are in a good spot, we can then turn this map 3D by adding the required 3D objects to our project.
Next up is adding some movement with the 3D camera to follow the animation of the route being added to the map.
Next we'll go over adding some text to our map indicating our final destination.
We'll go over adding motion blur into our project to give a more realistic feel to different elements and their motion.
We'll cover using stylized effects from the color page within Fusion
Finally, getting the motion graphic out of the fusion page onto the edit page so that we can color grade it and edit the motion graphic into our project.

If you plan to submit a project.
The primary thing I would be looking to see is the smoothness in your animations, both for the route as well as the camera movement. You're also more than welcome to choose a different set of streets to travel along for your route placement. Going with a different route should create the opportunity to add a bit of uniqueness.

Your final project should be submitted to the Project Gallery via YouTube or Vimeo.
