For this class, I encourage you to bring your story idea to vision by creating your first storyboard animation in Photoshop.

All drawing levels and all story ideas are welcome! ✏️

The possibilities are endless, so be as creative as you want.

Steps to completing your final project:

Create your story: decide on your first, middle, and final frame
Set up your storyboard file
Draw and add frames
Add facial expressions and backgrounds (if you choose to have a background)
Choose music and/or sounds to add to your storyboard
Export the final project

Final project submissions:

HD video (1920x1080) with audio
Black and white (with a hint of colour if you'd like)
At least 3 frames (eg. frame 1: beginning, frame 2: middle, frame 3: end)
Clear character expressions
Optional backgrounds

Practice project (highly recommended for beginners):

For this practice exercise, post a basic storyboard animation of a sad face turning into a happy face, which can be done in 3 simple frames.

This will ultimately help you familiarize yourself with the storyboarding process.
