What is this class about?
Spice up your kitchen or pantry with your own branded labels. This course is meant to get your creative juices flowing by designing your own food packaging labels in Procreate. To get into the flow of creating, light-hearted mindfulness lessons alternate creative, follow-along style lessons that are packed with tips and tricks on the use of Procreate.

What do you want to learn?
You decide where your focus lies. You can join this course if you just want to brighten up your kitchen and learn more about Procreate. But this course is also perfect to experience how simple yet effective mindful techniques can make you more productive and content at the same time.

Who is this class for?
As an aspiring artist or even a seasoned designer, confidently creating does not always come easy. When we are in the flow, creating seems effortless. But at other times we feel stuck and even doubt we will ever get to that same feeling again. This class provides you insights about how to get into the flow of creating more easily and produce some feel-good pieces along the way.

Although this is a beginner-friendly class, some basic knowledge of Procreate is needed if you want to follow along digitally. You are free though, to use any other program you prefer or even work without a computer.

Materials and Resources:
As the class is geared towards creating usable food labels, you can find templates for labels that fit most glass food and bottle containers, so you don’t have to worry about the measurements. Furthermore, an importable color palette is also available, if you want to follow along exactly. In the class, I will explain where to get the fonts I use.

Class Project:

Your class project is to create a label or series of labels that you can use to brighten up your bulk food containers. It would be great if you would also share some of your experiences getting your creative juices flowing whilst making these labels; if you choose to try out the suggested mindfulness practices.

This course is all about getting your creative juices flowing. Sometimes though, this is more easily said than done. Starting up a project is the first hurdle that can be so daunting, that we do not get to it at all.

To tackle this, I dare you to start your class project by uploading your name on a blank canvas. See it as a contract with yourself, promising to give it a go. This way, you already have completed the first step, your toes are in the water, making it easier to actually dive in.
