Thank you Aaron Draplin for this class - you are an incredible designer, teacher, and person!

I made this crest for my work family, after being asked to design a celebratory end of the year t-shirt (to which I replied, "yes please" and immediately began dreaming up designs far more elaborate than I'm sure my boss was envisioning). I work in a high school, so I filled the crest with phrases and objects of our school, the fidget spinner laurel being my favorite detail. I hope it makes my coworkers smile :)

PROCESS

I started by created a stream of conscious list of anything relevant to our school then sketched on this items. This was a great warm up!
