Hi everyone,

My name is Sophia, and I'm addicted to patterns.

I am one of the many Australians living in Canada. I recently moved from Calgary to Vancouver with my partner and our entitled cat. It is lovely to be near the ocean again, and the natural beauty of this province is a constant source of inspiration!

I first came across Bonnie's classes about a year ago when I was at a rather low point in my life. I cannot thank Bonnie enough for being so generous with her knowledge and opening up my eyes to this world. Pattern design has already brought me so much joy and is nourishing my creative soul. I am currently soaking up as much information as I can, and am trying to figure out my signature style.

For this workshop, I am thinking of making a pattern collection around the theme of freedom. Some words surrounding this theme include: sky, flight, soaring, opportunity, open, wind, clouds.
