These are really important concepts that once mastered, will improve your ability to accurately paint the colours you see as well as give you confidence to tackle any subject matter.

You’ll need the following supplies to follow along:

Sketchbook
Pen
Acrylic Paint (assortment of colours - use what you have - a good starting point is a set with red, yellow, blue, green, white and black.)
Paint brushes (assortment of sizes and styles - one of my favorites is an angled flat tip)
Water and containers (for cleaning brushes)
Cloth or paper towel
Pre-stretched canvas* (can use other paint appropriate material)
Ruler
Pencil crayon
Reference photo
