Here is my project outline:
Day 1: Draw animal A, for first 10 min, then 5 min, then 3 min , then 1 min (in order to get to know animal A and train how to simplify while making it recognizable).
Day 2: Paint animal A in watercolors, for first 15 min, then 10 min, then 5 min. (this one goes a bit over the time frame).
Day 3: Do Ohn Mar Win's Pen & Ink class, video 6 and / or 7 (for inspiration on loose watercolors)
Day 4: Do Ohn Mar Win's Watercolor drinks, video 4 and / or 5 (inspiration again)
Day 5: Paint animal B in watercolors, trying to apply day 3 + 4
Day 6: Paint animal C in watercolors, trying to apply day 3 + 4
Day 7: Pain animal A in watercolors (to see changes, hopefully and most likely)

As you may have seen in the Discussions/Community thread, it took me quite a while to figure out what to do with the project and also getting started with it. However, I find that when I have finally gotten around to sitting down with a project, I am not that prone to stop due to distractions. Though as today's assignment was time limited that also helped with focusing on the task, compered to when I don't have such a clear outline of what to do.

As for the result of today's work, I find it fascinating how quickly the bird shape can come together, though 1 minute seems to be not quite enough time for me but it did make me simplify the shapes in the bird.

Day 2:

Besides the 15, 10 and 5 minutes I ended up doing 3 and 1 minute too. I think all of them turned out quite nicely, though the 1 minute while still recognizable seems unfinished, so through this approach 1 minute is a bit too short when I haven't simplified the object more.

Day 3:
I actually had to divide this day into two, as after filling out the pdf for day 3, I ended up in a not creative mode, which what compounded with IT issues when trying to view the videos for this day. I ended up doing the tomatoes without a reference picture, which I quickly felt impeded my learning from this video, as instead of looking on a reference photo, interpreting form and color myself, I just ended just copying Ohn Mar without much thought, thereby resulting in an inferior result and leaving me without having learned much. As you may have guessed, I decided I had to do one more try but I really needed to get a way from it a bit.

A couple of days later, I finally had energy to give it a second try. Now, even the tomatoes looked quite a lot better and I could appreciate what I had done right in my first try. This time I did have my own reference photos and I really like the results a lot more, both in color and form variations, and I felt I learned a lot more from this second tryout.

Day 4:

In the spirit of this day's theme, I wanted to up load this to instagram. However, as you can see on the above pictures I usually just upload a photo of it directly from my phone, though though this doesn't show the optimal side of them. So for this I shined them up in Photoshop with lots and lots of help, as I don't usually use it. Therefore it took quite a lot of time for me to upload these pieces. But I am quite happy about them though:

Day 5:

(Wauw, two uploads two days in a row!!)

This one was really hard for me. The controlling outcomes is definitely one of my weak spots. I have done quite a bit of procrastination as even before I started, I was already starting on me not being able to get it to do it 'right', so I was not in a good mind set when I began (the self criticism is quite bad today). The result I am not too fond of, but I think I might like it better tomorrow, when I am in a better mind set. I look forward to really internalize the learnings for day 6, as it is really hitting hard during today's task.

Day 6:
I have started getting up earlier and doing these watercolors then. I find I have a lot more creative energy and when a mistake happens, it's easier for me to shrug it off and fokus on what I liked about what I had just done and tried to replicated that instead of focusing on the mistake :D I even started uploading my watercolors on social media! That's a new one for me :)

Even compared to yesterday, I already think I have progressed a bit:

Day 7:

I really think I have progressed! The bird in the lower right corner is the first as I started with and this is definitely closer to what I'd like my style to become. That being said, I prefer the upper left one, though the reference picture itself was gorgeous and really show the feathers of the peacock in a lovely way.

Having finally finished this class, I must say it is one of the best classes on Skilshare! It is hard and taxing and takes a while with the combined written work together with the creative pieces, but I am so happy that I have finished it, and I really think I have learned to tackle some of my creative perfectionism issues.

If anyone have any constructive criticism, I would like to year it.
