Share one of your exercises!

A big part of the fun of writing is sharing it! Whichever exercises you enjoyed the most, we want to celebrate them with you. This is your chance to share what happened in that café between you and The Person You Don’t Like, your dialogue exercise, one of your scenes, or anything else inspired by the exercises.

Remember:

99.9% of all writing starts out as bad writing. Don’t overthink it!
Not every exercise may resonate with you, and that’s okay.
Feel free to repeat the exercises you find most inspiring! They come out different every time.

Questions for Lesson 11, Exercise 6:

What time of day or night is it?
What season does it seem to be?
Where are you? Where is this taking place?
What’s the temperature like?
What does the air smell like?
Where’s the light coming from?)
How old are you?
Is anyone else with you? If so, who?
What are you doing?
What are some of the sounds you hear?
What are some things you see?
What’s directly in front of you?
What do you see on your right?
What do you see on your left?
What’s behind you?
What’s below and around your feet?
