Shivesh Bhatia is a baker, blogger, author and YouTuber. A self taught baker, Shivesh started baking as a young 16 year old political science student, accidentally turning baking into a full time career. After multiple failures in the kitchen, Shivesh taught himself various techniques and studied many ingredients, soon finding his stride. He started posting pictures of his cakes on Instagram, got a great response and in no time built a lovely community online (with a strength of 688k + and counting today). For Shivesh, baking comes with a certain amount of nostalgia - growing up he remembers his mother and grandmother whipping up many cakes for him and his cousins. Though extremely simple, these cakes sparked an interest in young Shivesh and served him later in his exploits in the kitchen.

At his core, Shivesh believes in creating delicious but approachable desserts. His website and his Youtube channel 'Bake With Shivesh' reflect this philosophy with many beginner friendly recipes. Shivesh won the Outlook Social Media award in 2016; got featured in Vogue's list of '20 Under 26', got awarded the Social Media Star of the year by CondeNast Traveler India, the Best Dessert Blog Award by Better Homes and Gardens in 2017; the Best Instagrammer of the Year at Living Foodz Awards in 2018 and the Best Food Feed of the year at Cosmopolitan Blogger Awards in 2019.
