Hi, this is my practice and project. At the moment I don't have an Ipad, but I did the practice in a mac, and it was not too difficult to find all the tools.

The idea for this Logo project was to create a logo for an Instagram account about three kitties, using the words "Tres Mininos" (which is Spanish for "Three Kitties").

First of all, I made a lot of sketches by hand on a piece of paper. Then when I ran out of ideas to sketch I started drawing in Affinity Designer. I made many drawings until I chose one that I felt conveyed better the message I wanted.

My goal was to make "S" at the end of both words as if it was the tail of a cat. I hope it shows.

In order to better manipulate the font, I converted it to curves, that's how I could increase the size of the "S" and stretch it. On a side note, I can't remember the font I used, and since I converted the text into curves the font name doesn't show anymore.

For the body of the cat, I used a rounded rectangle. The cat's face is made of different shapes (two triangles and a polygon) which I made into one shape using the Add and Subtract operations, then I used the Node tool in order to give it a softer shape. I also used the Node tool in order to give the "S" end a rounded shape. Although I drew something with the Pen tool, in the end, I didn't use that drawing.

I used the Fill tool to fill out the shapes and text. and the Stroke tool is more noticeable in the outer line of the cat's head. That's all.

This was my first logo so it was a lot of work. I'm attaching the process from the sketching to the final logo where I experimented until getting something I liked.

It is very interesting to me how after I finished the logo and looked at the sketches there is one sketch that was very similar to the final logo, although I didn't use that idea from the beginning.

I'm open to feedback on anything I could improve or do differently.
