Day 14: Yay!!!! I've finally finished Marie-Noelle's challenges. Thank you for a fabulous workshop, Marie-Noelle. I chose to finish off with a wonderful piece of bark that my neighbours found for me.

Day 12 : Structure - I've become fascinated with old and modern brick courses and structural forms so I didn't have to think too long about choosing my subject for this page. Skillshare 28-day Challenge - image 3 - student project

Day 11 : I didn't have much success trying to transform my original Cloudwatching page and so I played around with the orientation of my original 'cloud' and voila: A sunbird appeared. The nest isn't true to form but I'm happy with this transformation. No additional colour so the background image could still be identified. Skillshare 28-day Challenge - image 4 - student project

Day 8: What a day! :) I'm supposed to be working on 2020's Christmas cards. Instead I'm ... journalling by colour and challenging my imagination. Way to go!!!!!

Day 7: I've fallen in love with Curlews since a young mum and dad started nesting on our footpath under Lilly Pillies we'd planted a few months back. They are successfully raising one chick and it's wonderful to see them everyday and see how the chick is progressing. They are quite fearsome when anyone gets too close but it's a display well worth watching. They have huge eyes, absolutely amazing camouflage patterned feathers; and can live for 20+ years. Day 6: I had fun with this one. Still a sucker for detail but I promise I was relaxed and still have a smile on my face.

Day 5: I'm very lucky to have a botanical garden very close to home. This is one of the many Lotus plants that grow prolifically in one of the ponds. I just love the the bud shape followed by the gorgeous flower and then the seed pod - I've saved the seed pod for another day.

Shake it up! I used Procreate's Liquify feature to make my chaotic and colourful creation. The colour palette was inspired by a Gerbera I'd taken a photo of.

Again my imagination was a non-event so I used continuous line drawing to slow things down.

My imagination has gone AWOL so I had to resort to some basic tangling to turn my squiggle into a kind of 'Octotangle'. I'm hoping exposure to other participants' postings will help me to become more adventurous and spontaneous.

This is the journey I'm enjoying the most: taking a photo - this time of gumnuts while out on my daily cycle around Ross River - and then trying to recreate it in a watercolour way using Procreate on my iPad.
