Rachel Mindell is a poet, teacher, and tech-groupie living in Tucson, Arizona. She works as a Writing the Community Resident and Poetry Out Loud Coach for the UA Poetry Center and is Senior Editor for Submittable's Marketing Team.

She holds an MFA in Poetry and an MA in Literature from the University of Montana (poems on addiction, spice, paranormals; lit thesis entitled 'What is a Hole Made of,' regarding queerness and melancholy in Anne Carson). In other lives, she was a waitress, bartender, editorial whatnot, karaoke-file, book festival director, and freelance writer.
