Propagate one (or more) of your own plants.

Choose a plant in your house you want to propagate, grab some shears and a jar, and get ready to create some brand new plants!

If you’re propagating a snake plant, pothos, or pilea, you can follow the instructions in the class—if you’re working with a different plant, start with some research about how to best propagate that variety.

Then, snip off a little cutting, place it in your jar of water, put it in a semi-sunny spot, and be patient! It could take a few weeks or even months to start seeing roots show up on your plant.
