Your assignment is to share your animated illustrations as a GIF on the project gallery.

We will create our very own illustration with animated textures and patterns. I’ll take you through my creative process when making patterns and textures, and how I illustrate a character with these in mind. Once we've made our illustration, I’ll show you exactly how to export and upload your GIF to Skillshare.

All you need to do is follow along with me!

Completing this assignment will give you a moving illustration to share on your social media or online portfolio too!

Your projects should be a GIF (I will show you how to export this in Lesson 8),1080 px by 1080px in size.

This class is designed to be a practical introduction in animating patterns and textures, therefore practising each step will help you on your journey to understanding! So I encourage you to take part in a couple of Bonus Tasks along the way.

I encourage you to use your own illustrations for this but I have made all my working files available in the 'TEXTURES AND PATTERNS RESOURCE FOLDER' zip folder, just in case! Perfect for you to use as reference for your own project.
