You did it! Congratulations on reaching the end of our class! Now it's time to create your own unique retro anime render!

You have a lot of different ways you can make your render unique and they range in difficulty, so you can choose the method that's right for you!

I explain how to do a few of these changes in Lesson 16, so don't forget to watch that lesson before you tackle your own project!

Below, I have some different techniques listed in order of their difficulty, however don't let that scare you away if you're feeling ambitious! Have fun and don't stress about the details! If you have a cool idea you want to try out, go ahead!

Adjust the Camera Angle: By adjusting the view we see our character from, we can really change the mood of the image!

For example: A close up shot on the eyes or the mouth could imply this render is a reaction shot after battle!
Changing colors: You can just change the color palette of the character to make it unique!

Maybe you like the green helmet, but think the purple armor would look nicer as a dark red to match the sword? Now's your chance!
Adjust the Character Model: You can remove parts of the character's armor to give them a new unique look!

This could include things like removing the shoulder armor or horns from the helmet!
Add a New Model to the Scene: Rather than just removing pieces from the character, you could also add a brand new model of your own design!

Maybe your character prefers to use a magical staff instead of a sword!
Create Your Own Unique Character!: You could start this process with your own unique anime character, rather than using the one I provided in the project resources!

This is by far the most ambitious option for your class project, but it could also be the most rewarding as it lets you exercise the full extent of your creativity and skills in Blender!

When you're finished with your final render, don't forget to post it to the project gallery so we can all congratulate you on a job well done at the finish line of this class!

If you're unsure how to post your project to the gallery, let me give you a quick explanation:

1. Render and save your image as a .JPG or .PNG file in Blender
2. Click the "Submit Project" button located in the "Projects & Resources" tab below the video player.

3. Now you need to upload your Cover Image (Please note: This is ONLY the image for the cover of your project, it will be cropped in the project gallery).
4. Give your project a name! For example: "My Anime Character!"
5. In the "Project Description" text box, tell us a little about your render if you'd like to! Was there a story behind the way you assembled your objects? What is your favorite part of the image? Did you find anything in particular challenging about the project?
6. Now for the MOST IMPORTANT STEP, don't forget to upload an uncropped full size version of your render using the "Add More Content - Image" button found below the "Project Description" text box.

Without uploading your image a second time, the only thing we'll be able to see is the cropped cover image, which would be quite a shame after all your hard work!
7. Add any relevant "Skill Tags" if you'd like to (it's optional if you don't want to).
8. Hit the "Publish" button at the top of the screen!

And that's it! You're done! You've now joined the ranks of all of your fellow Blender explorers by submitting your class project!
