Now that you've completed the course, it's time for your final project.

ASSIGNMENT

Your assignment is to shoot a fashion editorial at home using a single light. In the course, I shared my go-to lighting setup and the required camera settings. But feel free to experiment so you can find your own style. And when you're ready, reach out to potential models through social media and ask around to see if they know a makeup or hairstylist that can tag along as well. Having the extra hands will help you throughout the shoot itself, but they'll also help deliver a better final product. Otherwise, skip this route and grab a family member or a friend you find interesting instead. Then create an idea for the shoot, pick up your camera, and execute.

DELIVERABLE

Share 1-3 photos from your at-home fashion editorial photoshoot using a one-light setup. Doing so will inspire other students in the course. And, ultimately, it'll help everyone learn and have the best experience possible. Plus, I'd like to give you personal feedback if you're open to it. Don't be afraid to share a work-in-progress. It doesn't need to be perfect.

A completed project will include:

A brief description of your setup and an explanation about the process you went through in taking it.
1-3 portraits
